About La Choza de Laurel

One of the best-known traditional Costa Rican restaurants in the region. A traditional ranch setting, an open kitchen and chickens roasting over the fire at the entrance.

What to expect

Traditional Costa Rican food under an open rancho, about 300 metres west of the central park.
The casado is the house plate: rice, beans, plantain, salad and the protein you pick.
The menu also runs to pork ribs, soups and ceviche, and steps outside traditional food with pasta, salads and desserts.
It is one of the best known restaurants in town and it lives full of visitors; service is quick anyway.

The brand was born in La Fortuna some three decades ago and today also has a place in Liberia, which is the one its website shows.
