Contemporary international cooking with a Costa Rican core, in the heart of town since 2005. Where locals go when there is something to celebrate. Open daily 11am to 11pm.
What to expect
Chef-driven Costa Rican cooking in the middle of town, open since 2005.
The house dish is the grandmother-style chicken; the trout croquettes, the spicy wings wrapped in banana leaf and the ribs are theirs too.
For vegetarians there is mushroom lasagne and a Moroccan salad, not a token side.
A full bar with its own sommelier, Andrey, and a counter where eating alone works well.
What is included
The Huetar Norte tasting menu is five courses of local produce, designed by chef Santiago.
Places are limited and it is booked in advance.
